A Monumental Storm
After the Season

About the Artist

Sondra FeingoldSondra Feingold is a native born Arizonian, who has lived most of her life in Arizona and twenty eight years in Washington State where she raised her family. In 2000 she felt called to return to her home state and thinks the similar and varying vistas and terrain have influenced her paintings in a positive way. People say her works fill them with a sense of peace, tranquility, freedom, and feelings of easier softer times.

As a child she was constantly drawing, creating homemade playthings or daydreaming. Her formal training consists of excellent high school art instructions and a short stint at Glendale Community College. Sondra considers her talent to be a generous gift from God to explore His wonder filled creation. She is at a point in her life where she can paint, and explore the endless possibilities of this precious gift.

Sondra’s work has been exhibited in numerous shows, both juried and invitational, in Washington and Arizona. Over the years she has won many awards and ribbons including Best of Show, Firsts, Seconds, and Peoples Choice.

In her own words.

“Actually I am just an ordinary person that lives in an ordinary house, and God has given me a passion and drive. I just happen to love the challenge of putting oil on canvas, and usually God lets something wonderful happen.

Each new painting is a growth experience and a journey that I invite you to share with me.”
